Hi, I'm Ahlaam Al Khabori, the founder of Baladi Baby.

I'm an Omani mother who simply wanted to give my children something I couldn't find—beautiful everyday products that reflected who they are and where they come from.

When my daughter was born, I searched for baby essentials inspired by Arab culture. I wanted products that celebrated the traditions, colours, patterns, and stories I grew up with. Instead, I found shelves filled with products that all looked the same, with very little that felt familiar or representative of our identity.

That feeling stayed with me.

So I decided to create the products I wished had existed—not only for my own children, but for families across the Arab world and beyond who wanted their little ones to grow up surrounded by the beauty of their heritage.

Today, Baladi Baby is home to the world's largest collection of Arab-inspired baby products. Every design begins with a story, drawing inspiration from the traditions, artistry, and everyday moments that make our culture so rich. From our swaddles and milestone cards to our books, puzzles, and games, every product is thoughtfully designed to celebrate Arab culture from the very beginning.

More than anything, I hope our products help children grow up feeling proud of who they are. Because when children see their culture represented, they learn that it is something to cherish, celebrate, and carry with them throughout their lives.
